For durable, high clarity polymer protection, Cirrus PolyShield™ is a breakthrough catalyst-free clear coating that will bond tightly to a wide range of metal surfaces. Self-polymerisation, without the addition of a catalyst, ensures the clarity is preserved even as the bonding process creates long molecular chains.
Our patented polymer coating fuses directly with the metal substrate, via a surface-initiated electrochemical polymerisation process, creating a protective barrier highly resistant to separation.
The results is a thin, flexible layer with very high adhesion, which offers a highly durable coating. The process is simple, with fewer steps than standard polymer films. Eliminating the requirement for a catalyst produces a high clarity polymer with exceptional strength.
